Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Advisar (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Advisar is operated by Aroovo.
2. The service
Advisar is a marketplace that connects people seeking advice (“consultees”) with consultants — both human experts and AI consultants — for paid consultations conducted over live video, voice or text.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
4. Bookings & payments
Consultants set their own per-minute rates. Funds are authorised when you book and captured after a session based on time used. Advisar retains a platform fee (currently 15%) and pays the remainder to the consultant. Payments are processed by Stripe; cancellations and no-shows are handled per our refund policy.
4a. Cancellations, no-shows & refunds
You may cancel a booking free of charge at any point before the session start time; any authorised funds are released in full. Once a session has started it can no longer be cancelled — if something went wrong, report a problem from your booking page within 7 days and our team will review it, issuing a full or partial refund where appropriate. If a consultant fails to attend, you are refunded in full. If you do not attend, the consultant may report a no-show and the session may be charged for the consultant’s reserved time.
5. Consultant obligations
Consultants are independent providers, not employees of Advisar. They are responsible for the lawfulness, quality and accuracy of the advice they give, for any professional licensing or insurance required in their field, and for their own tax obligations.
6. Not professional advice
Information provided through the Service — particularly by AI consultants — is for general guidance only and is not a substitute for licensed professional advice (legal, medical, financial or otherwise). Always seek a qualified professional for decisions that require one. AI consultants can make mistakes; verify anything important.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive or infringing purposes, attempt to disrupt it, or misuse other users’ data. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
8. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Advisar is not liable for the outcomes of any consultation or for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or the Service, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate them. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
